Panasonic Corp. to Halt Extension of Battery Manufacturing Unit

Due to growing competition with South Korean rivals, Japanese battery manufacturer ‘Panasonic Corp.’ has succumbed to low demand.
Earlier, Panasonic Corp. was planning of investing ¥100 billion at its Suminoe plant located in two different states Osaka and western Japan. Suminoe plant produces lithium-ion batteries which are majorly used in consumer electronics.
Nissan Sunny Diesel Version to be Out Soon in India

Japanese automobile company launched its Nissan Sunny Petrol model in India between the price of 5.8 lakh and 7.8 lakh and is eager to introduce its diesel version, soon in the country.
Corporate Vice President of Nissan for Africa Middle East and India, Gilles Normand stated that as the Indian customers favour diesel versions, the company is keen to launch its diesel car to avail the Indian market.
Prada Spa’s Net Revenue Climbed by 74%

Prada SpA, the Italian luxury goods unisex brand notified that the profit of first six months had intensified with the immense sales of its bags and wallets in the Asian region.
It has revealed that its net revenue had climbed by 74% and earned Euros 179.5 million in six months compared to last year's 103 million.

BPO to Grow 6.3% Worldwide and 17.9% in Asia-Pacific: Gartner

Also, the western European BPO sales are expected to grow by 8.9% and North American BPO is likely to increase by 3.8% in 2011.
