The department of telecommunications (DoT), on Sunday, has announced that the auction for 3G spectrum in India will be held on December 7. Telecom service providers in India are asked to file their bids from October 26 to November 13.

The DoT has said that all the bidders are required to submit their doubts related to auction before October 8, and a pre-bid conference has been organized on October 12.
