Deciphering the opportunities available in countries, including Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia, Google is closely weighing options to make its presence felt. It’s being believed that in comparison to U. S. and Europe, Google has not done much investment to make it more competitive in other markets.

Google has registered an increase of 24%in its second quarter profit, which stood at $1.84 billion on account of an overall revival in demand for online advertising.
Google had made a profit of $1.48 billion during the three month period ended June 2009.

Google announced that it is jointly working with Wikipedia contributors, transcribers as well as Wikipedians across India, Africa and the Middle East with the aim to make the content accessible on wikipedia in different languages.
Wikipedia is a worldwide phenomenon, with over 15 million articles in the so-called common tongues such as German, English and French.
Google boss won't accept Obama cabinet post

He stayed firm and said, “I love working at Google and I'm very happy to stay at Google, so the answer is no.”
It has been learnt that Schmidt is a great supporter of Obama and he even took part in a meeting sponsored by the incoming US administration to work on ways to deal with the economic crisis.
