L&T Bags Two Orders Worth Rs 415 Crore

Engineering and construction giant Larsen & Toubro (L&T) announced that it bagged two orders worth Rs 415 crore.
As per reports, the first order worth Rs 253 crore has been bagged from Hindalco for executing steel works for the 6x150 MW captive power facility in the state of Orissa.

Larsen and Toubro Ltd, is ready to make foray in the Brazilian market with the aim to discover chances in the country's oil and gas segment.
Besides, India's biggest engineering and construction company is also eyeing the Indian banking segment when laws permit the admission of novel private players.
Jaypee Group, L&T sign Rs 4000-cr agreement
Submitted by Navjot Singh on Fri, 08/14/2009 - 05:51Jaiprakash Power Ventures Ltd (JPVL), the designated power vehicle of Jaypee Group and Larsen & Toubro (L&T) signed an agreement worth Rs 4,000 crore for supplying equipment for the Jaypee Nigrie Super Thermal Power Project in Madhya Pradesh.
Under the agreement, L&T will supply 2 units of 660 Mw each for the power plant.
Maytas Infra Bags Rs 169.5 Crore Project
Submitted by Mandeep Singh on Thu, 12/11/2008 - 05:04Maytas Infra Limited, a leading Hyderabad-based construction and infrastructure development conglomerate, announced that it has secured Godavari Drinking Water Supply Scheme project worth Rs 169.5 crore from Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board aiming at supplying drinking water to Hyderabad city.
According to sources, Maytas will be accomplishing the project in joint venture with Larsen & Toubro (L&T) and Kirloskar Brothers Limited.
