Tata Nano Sales Hit 10,000/Month Mark In April

Auto major Tata Motors declared that its small car Nano has surpassed the coveted 10,000 unit sales mark during the last month with the sales of the ''lakhtakia'' hitting 10,012 units, up by 184% as against April 2010.
The company has sold 1,10,794 Nano units by April end.

Tata Motors is on the verge of deciding a production location for its small as well as cheapest car Nano at an overseas location.
Tata Motors said that the overseas location could be either in Latin America, South East Asia or Africa.
Tata Motors Worldwide Sales Zoom 1% In March 2011

The Tata Motors Group worldwide wholesales, comprising Jaguar Land Rover, remained at 110,785 units during the last month (March 2011).
This showed an increase of 1% as against the same period of last year (March 2010).
Company's cumulative sales for the twelve month period (April 2010 - March 2011) grew by 24% to 1,081,245 units as compared to the same period in 2009-10.
Tata Motors Worldwide Sales Surge 14% During Feb

Tata Motors stated that its worldwide sales grew by 14% to 1,02,411 units during the last month on healthy demand for both commercial and passenger vehicles as against the same period of 2009.
The company's sales of luxury brands from Jaguar Land Rover remained at 21,653 units during the last month, up 26% as against the similar period of 2010.

The latest edition of Tata Motors' sedan Manza, fitted with a variety of novel traits, hit the roads yesterday, a company's representative stated.
Competitively rated, Tata Manza would be priced from Rs 5.14 lakh for the Safire petrol version and from Rs 5.91 lakh for the Quadrajet diesel edition (both prices ex-showroom, Delhi).
Tata Motors Rolls Out MPV Venture In Maharashtra

Tata Motors has rolled out its new multi-purpose diesel vehicle 'Venture', which is priced in the range of Rs 4-5-lakh in Maharashtra.
In Maharashtra, Venture will be available at around 24 dealerships during in the initial phase.
Tata Motors Sales Surge 31% In December

Auto manufacturer Tata Motors recorded 30.63% surge in its December sales at 67,441 units sold as against 51,627 units sold during December 2009.
Tata Motors said that its overall passenger vehicles sales in the Indian market in December 2010 jumped 34.48% to 19,706 units as against the same month of 2009.
Tata Motors said that Nano's sales during December surged 60% to 5,784 units.
Tata Motors To Recall Some Nanos To Install Safety Measures

Tata Motors announced that it will be recalling a few of its small car Nano in order to set up security measures to stop the vehicle catching fire.
Tata Motors Managing Director (India Operations) P M Telang stated, "There are about 70,000 Nanos on the roads now, he added."
He added that around 70,000 Nanos have been sold thus far.
New Tata Indica Vista IGNIS to hit Indian roads soon

The New IGNIS will be powered with 1.4l safflire engine, which is presently used by the Fiat Grand Punto. This 1.4L saffire engine has the tendency to produce 90PS of max power at 6000rps and 115Nm of peak torque at 4500rmp.
Tata Motors Start FD scheme To Increase Cash Flow

The company announced the scheme through a newspaper advertisement on Monday.
Tata Motors will offer 10% for a one-year deposit, with senior citizens getting an extra 0.5%. The company has approval to raise up to Rs 1,931.5 crore from the public, through FDs.
