BHEL Receives Contract Worth Rs 26.65 Bln

According to recent reports, Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) has pocketed an order worth at Rs 26.65 billion.
The scope of new order comprises establishment of a 1,200 MW thermal power facility (2x600 MW) in Chhattisgarh.
Marg To Pump In Rs 1.08 Bn In Bijapur Airport Project

Marg, a Chennai-based company engaged in infrastructure development, is searching the options to invest Rs 1.08 billion in the Bijapur airport project, and is looking for a strategic partner for the same.
According to the sources, the company recently secured the contract for building and operating the airport.
Of the Rs 1.08 billion, equity portion will be Rs 320 million and the rest will come through debt.
HPCL establishes new subsidiary company ‘CREDA-HPCL Biofuels’
Submitted by Mandeep Singh on Fri, 10/17/2008 - 08:44Oil major Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) has notified that the company has formed a subsidiary Company christened ‘CREDA - HPCL Biofuels Ltd’ in association with Chhattisgarh State Renewable Energy Development Agency (CREDA).
Both partners constituted the latest subsidiary for the development of renewable energy sources in the state of Chhattisgarh for the purpose of cultivation of Jatropha Plants for the production of bio-diesel.
HPCL ended the day at Rs 228, up 4% compared to its previous close of Rs 220.
