J Kumar Infraprojects bags Rs 559 crore order

Mumbai headquartered J Kumar Infraprojects announced that it has secured Rs 559.40 crore order from Mumbai Metropolitan Regulatory Development Authority
(MMRDA) and the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC).
Under the said order, the leading civil engineering and infrastructure development conglomerate (J Kumar Infraprojects ) will construct 16 skywalks in the metropolitan city.
According to the sources, the proposed contract is a part of the overall project of having 50 skywalks mainly to help discharge of people from railway stations.
The sources further disclosed that MSRDC is searching the options to build 17 skywalks by June coming fiscal at high pedestrian density arenas around railway stations.
The company officials said that with the help of above pact, the order book position of J Kumar Infraprojects Ltd now stands at about Rs 1,272 crore. Shedding lights on MMRDA, the sources said that it is the nodal agency for infrastructure development in Mumbai.
