Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has clinched a bilateral memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Federal Financial Markets Service of Russian Federation (FFMS), Russia on mutual cooperation and information sharing.
 
According to sources, the MoU has been inked to set up a general framework for co-operation, consultation and mutual assistance between the regulatory authorities, in order to fulfilling of their regulatory responsibilities.      
 
Including this MoU, SEBI has inked bilateral MoUs with 16 jurisdictions and a letter of Intent for mutual cooperation with Securities and Futures Commission, Hong Kong.
