Marg To Pump In Rs 1.08 Bn In Bijapur Airport Project

Marg, a Chennai-based company engaged in infrastructure development, is searching the options to invest Rs 1.08 billion in the Bijapur airport project, and is looking for a strategic partner for the same.
According to the sources, the company recently secured the contract for building and operating the airport.
Of the Rs 1.08 billion, equity portion will be Rs 320 million and the rest will come through debt.
Sources further revealed that the airport will spread over 727-acre land at Burnapur village near Bijapur.
Under a public-private partnership (PPP) pact, Marg has secured a 30-year deal to design, develop, function and manage the airport.
Shares of the company gained Rs 2.05, or 4.92%, to settle at Rs 44. The total volume of shares traded was 80,075 at the BSE (Friday).
