Patni declares Key Leadership Appointments

IT and BPO services provider Patni Computer Systems has revealed the re-structuring of its business into four key geographies which includes U. S, EMEA, APAC, SAARC.
"Our overriding focus has been to identify growth areas and then ensure that these are followed through with the right management support. These appointments are part of that promise and a reinforced regional structure will see this vision through to fruition," said Jeya Kumar, CEO, Patni.
Naresh L Lakhanpal has been appointed as the president of Patni Americas Inc. He will look after the working of American Operations. Mr. Lakhanpal has over 23 years of business experience which includes operations, sales, engineering, product development and strategy.
In the same manner, V Mathivanan has been appointed as the resident of Asia Pacific operations and he will operate from Singapore. V Mathivanan has over 30 years of experience specializing in IT. He has worked with companies such as Singapore Network Services (SNS) and Crimson Logic.
It is anticipated that by the end of 2012 Asia Pacific will contribute about 15% to the global sales of the company.
However, the SAARC region will work independently, with much focus on the Indian market. Deepak Khosla will be the new head of the SAARC region. Earlier he led the APAC.
