The 24-hour world news and current affairs channel ‘Al Jazeera English’ has extended its circle with its launch in Philippines on SkyCable.

From the 15th August, the channel is available to SkyCable’s digital subscribers in metro Manila. Al Jazeera English has over 150 million household’s viewers worldwide.

Al Jazeera English is home to well-known names such as Veronica Pedrosa, Sir David Frost and Riz Khan.

The organiztion is the world’s first global English language news channel to be headquartered in the Middle-East. As a part of growing network, Al Jazeera English is now taking steps to become a global news provider.
