Diamond Power Infra Pockets Orders Worth Rs 332 Cr

Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited has declared that it has pocketed orders worth Rs 332 crore.
In a declaration, the integrated EPC player said that the fresh orders are for supply of 2005 kms of LV cables, 723.77 kms of high tension lines, 18,99 kms of conductors plus 2,932 transformers.
The new orders are said to be completed within the period of 9-12 months.
As on July 16, 2010, the company’s total outstanding orders stood at Rs 1450 crore.
During the fourth quarter ended March 2010, the company has recorded an increase of 84%in its net profit, which stood at Rs 22.33 crore.
Plus, the company registered an increase of 41.9% in its total sales at Rs 295.27 crore.
The company’s major activity is to make conductors, cables and market outsourced products.
The client list of the Company includes TISCO, various Birla Group firms, Tata Projects, ABB, CIMMCO, TELCO, GIPCL, KPCL, L&T, Crompton Greaves, DGNP, BSES and GEC.
The company’s production facilities are situated in Baroda and Silvasa.
The shares of the company ended at Rs 205.50 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). The total volume of shares traded stood at 695,329 at the BSE.
