Nokia has made announcement that it has joined hands with the GSM brand of Tata Teleservices, Tata DoCoMo.

Finnish giant said that it tied up with Tata DoCoMo with the intention to provide Nokia Ovi Life Tools to a larger base of Tata DoCoMo subscribers residing in rustic as well as semi-urban regions of the country.

The new service is intended to provide news alerts in the spheres of agriculture and education on plans and other pertinent data directly to hoards of users subscribed to it.

Nokia Life Tools Agriculture service is accessible across 18 states and in 11 different languages, and it offers customers an option of 2 plans.

The basic plan at Rs 30 on a monthly basis, offers daily updates on weather and pertinent agriculture-related news, suggestion as well as tips.

There is also a premium plan at Rs 60 per month that offers up the closest market rates for three crops selected by the user plus weather data, news, advice and tips.

The users of this service can subscribe to their favored educational service like learn English, GK or examination tips at just Rs 30 on a monthly basis.

The service is available in 11 Indian languages such as Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Punjabi, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Oriya and English.
