Finally, telecom operator BSNL has discovered a suitable head for itself.   

Mr. Gopal Das is ready to replace Kuldeep Goyal as the new Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of the country's biggest telecommunication company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd BSNL.

Kuldeep Goyal will retire on 31st July, 2010.

At present, Mr. Das, who is serving as the director (HRD) in BSNL, is recognized for his optimistic attitude and truthfulness.

Mr. Gopal is one of the few senior functionaries who command respect among close to the company's 3 lac staff.

Mr. Das may be the last Indian Telecom Service (ITS) officer to head BSNL.

The administration has established a search group for choosing future Chairman and Managing Director.

Mr. Gopal Das has joined as Director (HRD) in BSNL in the year 2007.

He is accountable for devising and carrying out plans relating to establishment, human resources, industrial relations, training, reformation and other HR linked affairs.
