Kingfisher Commences Delhi-Ludhiana FlightKingfisher Airlines has started a daily direct flight between the national capital and Ludhiana, Punjab.

According to company announcement, Kingfisher Airlines's budget arm, Kingfisher Red, would handle the functioning of the new service.

With the launching of the new service, Kingfisher turns out to be the only private air-carrier to provide Ludhiana service.

From the capital, the newly started Kingfisher Airlines' flight IT-4361 will start at 1.45 pm and reach Ludhiana at 2.45 pm.

From Ludhiana, the return flight IT-4362 will take-off at 3.15 pm and reach the capital at 4.15 pm.

"The new direct flight will offer travellers from Ludhiana a one-stop connection to Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Jaipur, Ahmedabad and Indore via New Delhi," Kingfisher Airlines' executive vice president
(Commercial) Manoj Chako said, adding it would be advantageous for many small and medium enterprises.

Kingfisher runs more than 375 everyday flights across 60 domestic as well as 8 foreign destinations.

In May last year, Kingfisher Airlines carried over a million riders, offering it the maximum share of market among Indian airlines.
