Gayatri Projects Q1 Net Profit Zooms 25.93%

Gayatri Projects Limited has recorded an increase of 25.93% in its net profit for the first quarter of the existing year (2010-11).
During the period, the company registered a net profit of Rs 15.06 crore.
The Hyderabad-based Infrastructure company had a net profit of Rs 11.96 crore during the same period of 2009.
The company's turnover during the period under review grew by 17.72% to Rs 342.59 crore as compared to Rs 291.02 crore in the corresponding period of 2009.
The company's Earning Per Share (EPS) during the quarter increased by 8.27% to Rs 10.21 from Rs 9.43 in 2009.
In a declartion, Mr. Sandeep Reddy, Gayatri Projects Limited Managing Director stated, ''We are encouraged by our performance on our core verticals. This sets us up to deliver strong volume growth during the year as planned. With comfortable order booking, our outlook continues to be highly positive."
