Nissan Motor India has 1,249 cars during the last month, which was up from 22 units sold in August 2009.

Nissan Motor's novel small car Micra made the most of last month's sales (1,182 sales), whereas other models such as Teana, X-trail and 370Z stood at 21, 44 and 2 respectively.

The company's order book position stood at approximately 3,600 units for its novel small car, and is taking steps to lessen the postponement in vehicle delivery period like commencing the second shift and realigning the production course to meet up the market demands.

The company is all set to start car exports during the month (Sep 2010).

Eyeing some more dealerships in India, the Japanese car manufacturer would certainly want to capture the attention of the crowd with their cars and existence in the Indian Market.
