Citrix Eyes To Expand Its Footprint In India

Citrix Systems Inc has declared that it is eyeing to strengthen its footprint in the Indian market, which included transfer of its research and development (R and D) group to a new plant in the city.
Moreover, the company said that it would also add more people to its sales group and launches a new sales office in the Mumbai, Maharashtra.
Mark Templeton, Citrix's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) who opened the new R&D facility, announced the company's growth for the Indian market.
The reports said that the company's novel plant would look after all facets of research that consists of design, coding, functional testing, engineering, management of mobile devises.
In this way, Citrix can better partner as well as interact with its clients as early as the product development stage to offer them best answer in order to meet up the requirements of their businesses.
Mr. Templeton added, ''India has some of the best information technology talent in the world and the expansion of our R and D team here ensures we can take best advantage of this highly regarded expertise. We are planning to increase the current heahead count of0 engineers by 100 percent in the next two years.''
The company owns five research and development centres all over the world, with other plants located in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia and Japan.
