Era Infra bags Rs 1.99 bn order from BHEL

Era Infra Engineering, a leading infrastructure development conglomerate, has announced that it has secured a contract worth Rs 1.99 billion for a power project promoted by the public sector-based Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) at Bawana in New Delhi.

The source close to the company said that the proposed contract has been awarded for the complete civil, structural and architectural works for main plant, balance of plant and various buildings including induced draft cooling towers at 2 x 759 mw Pragati - III combined cycle power project at Bawana.

According to the reports, the contract excludes the cost of cement and steel, which shall be supplied free of cost by the BHEL.

Stock of Era Infra Engineering ended the day at Rs 75, down 1.44 percent on National Stock Exchange (on Friday, 24 October). The total volume of shares traded at the NSE was 454,507.
