RPP Infra Pockets Rs 1 Bln Worth Orders; Stock Surges 7.4%

Tamil Nadu based RPP Infra Projects Ltd has pocketed a series of orders worth Rs 1 billion during the last month.
The company, which is mainly involves in the biz of infrastructure development like highways, roads and bridges, said that the fresh orders comprise bridge work in MSEZL pipeline corridor in Karnataka, overhaul and transformation of Mazhampuzha garden in Kerala, Tsunami reclamation plan in tirunelvi region of Tamil Nadu, river bunding work in cuddalore region of Tamil Nadu, manufacture of academic block for Tirunelveli Anna University Engineering College in Tamil Nadu's Thoothukudi district, etc.
With these fresh orders, the company's order book place is likely to hit Rs 750 crore.
Mr. Arul Sundaram, CMD of the company, stated that the company was eyeing revenues of approximately Rs 250 crore during the existing financial year.
"Our net profit margins will go up by 6.5%," Mr. Arul stated.
Their planned order book position is touted at Rs 900 crore with special stress on the road segment, irrigation and water supply.
Today, the stock of the company opened at Rs 55.10 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
At 03:28 p. m., the stock of the company gained 7.4% to trade at Rs 59.60 at the BSE.
