Tata Motors has rolled out its new multi-purpose diesel vehicle 'Venture', which is priced in the range of Rs 4-5-lakh in Maharashtra.

In Maharashtra, Venture will be available at around 24 dealerships during in the initial phase.

Tata Motors Head Marketing and Sales (Light Commercial Vehicle), Mr. Anil Kapur stated, "We launched the product in Rajasthan early this month and now we have launched it in Maharashtra. Demand for it is good in Rajasthan. We will launch Venture in other states soon."

The newly launched vehicle will be available in 5, 7 and 8-seater alternatives in 3-row front facing pattern and in a range of 5 colors and 3 trim degrees.

Powered by a 1.4-litre turbo diesel engine, the new vehicle is fabricated in Tata's Uttarakhand plant.

"The Venture is a multi-purpose vehicle (MPV). This is cost-effective and customer-friendly and we hope that it will be a great success in Maharashtra. We have developed this product for family as well as business purposes," Kapur said, adding, "we have focused on safety and luxury features in the vehicle."

"We expect this MPV will add more market share to our company in future," he said.
