Nokia CEO Stephen Elop had previously confirmed that the Finnish giant will not be introducing any Windows Phone 7 based mobile handsets this year (2011).

But still a highly ranked Nokia functionary confirmed that the cellular phone manufacturer will actually roll out around 40 phones in 2011.

After the affirmation of this news some specialists are now hinting that the Nokia, Microsoft partner will not yield any outcomes at once.

The administrator stated, "We will be launching 40 models in 2011 of which at least 30% would be smartphones."

By introducing this many phones, the company is trying really hard to make its attendance felt in the market.

Recently Nokia has been facing firm rivalry from biggies such as Blackberry, Apple and Google internationally.
