Tata Motors Worldwide Sales Zoom 1% In March 2011

The Tata Motors Group worldwide wholesales, comprising Jaguar Land Rover, remained at 110,785 units during the last month (March 2011).
This showed an increase of 1% as against the same period of last year (March 2010).
Company's cumulative sales for the twelve month period (April 2010 - March 2011) grew by 24% to 1,081,245 units as compared to the same period in 2009-10.
Worldwide sales of all commercial vehicles that comprised Tata, Tata Daewoo and the Tata Hispano Carrocera range surged 19% to 56,814 units during the last month.
Cumulative sales for the financial year zoomed 24% to 512,269 units.
The company posted an increase of 24% in its global sales of all passenger vehicles to 53,971 units in March 2011.
Cumulative sales for the fiscal were 568,976 units, recording an increase of 24%.
During March 2011, worldwide sales of Jaguar Land Rover remained at 24,101 units, up 2%.
Jaguar sales for March 2011 stood at 3,772 units, down 19%, whilst Land Rover sales remained at 20,329 units higher by 8%.
Cumulative sales of Jaguar Land Rover from April 2010 to March 2011 remained up by 25% to 241,573 units.
