The ‘Marketing Professional of the year’ award has been given to Abhra Banerjee from Centuary Plywoods this year. She is the acting VP of the firm and has been given this honor for her contribution and good work in the marketing field.

She has received the award for “Excellence in Brand & Marketing”. The awards ceremony was held at Suntec City in Singapore. It was held on the 22nd of July this year.

There were many other categories in the field of business excellence and the winners were from many different genre firms like Coca Cola, Microsoft, GE, and Godrej and so on.

Abhra Banerjee, VP Marketing, Centuryply, said after receiving the award, “This is a great honor for me and I want to congratulate my team who made this happen. This award has recognized the fact that the fundamental principles of Marketing are applicable for every brand in any category; the difference is only in the application of these fundamental principles well”.

The award was a result of hard work, determination as well as countless hours she had put in for her work. She further added that the field of marketing is dynamic and a lot of experimentation can be expected to be done here.
