DB Reality Plans to Invest in DB Hospitality

The Real estate developer Dynamix Balwas Realty revealed that its individual net profit increased 6% amounting to 868.43 million rupees. The Company revealed about its plans of investment in another organization in order to expand its asset collection.

The Company ‘s Managing Directors are Vinod Goenka and Shahid Balwa, who hold 80.92% in the DB Hospitality Ltd, while the rest is owned by private equity funds, including IIRF Holdings VIII Limited and IL&FS Trust Company Limited.

As per the Group Director (Business & Strategy), N. Shridhar, "Rising interest rates and input costs coupled with delayed approvals have resulted in a slowdown in the sector. At DB Realty, we see a slowdown in sales coupled with an increase in input costs in the last six months”.

The company is planning to spend in its firm DB Hospitality in order to expand its business.

The firm DB Hospitality owns 550 chains across the three hotels in Mumbai, Goa and Ahmadabad and is planning to increase the number to 1,900 chains across 8 hotels in other five cities.

The company is planning to invest Rs 500 crore in two halves. In the first half, it will spend Rs 300-400 crore and another Rs 200 crore will be spent in the final stages.
