Coca-Cola to Invest in China

Riding high over a string of recent developments, the cola giant, Coca-Cola is reportedly set to invest a sum of $US4 billion in China for the purpose of expanding the firm.

They are of the view that China is a fast growing market and has enormous potential for growth and development in the field. The further revealed that this is a long term plan and has taken a span of 3 years to develop, which begins next year.

It was revealed that a number of global brands are coming towards Asian countries for their investment as it is a fast growing and extremely potential market. China in particular is a high earning market and this is the reason a number of investors are getting attracted towards it.

"China is one of our most important growth markets”, said Coca-Cola Chairman and CEO Muhtar Kent while announcing the plans today.

Various other brands, including McDonald’s and Nestle, have already made firm holds in the nation.

It is a matter of time which would reveal how useful the decision of the firm is and how well they are going to do in China.
