Gujarat govt to construct 4-lane highway at Waghodiya

Gujarat Government has informed that it will soon construct a four-lane highway in and around Waghodiya due to the huge industrial investment taking place there.

According to the sources, for building of this four-lane highway, Suzlon Energy, a leading player in wind turbine business has already pumped more than Rs 400 crore for setting up of Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in the area around Waghodiya.

Gujarat Revenue Minister, Mr Anandiben Patel, during her visit to Waghodiya, revealed that it has been the policy of the government to offer infrastructure facilities to these arenas for attracting more industrial investment which can provide jobs.

The sources further revealed that work on the construction of this highway will commence during this year.

According to the reports, the project entails an investment of Rs 14-crore.

According to the company officials, the construction of highway will help smooth transport.
