Prada Spa’s Net Revenue Climbed by 74%

Prada SpA, the Italian luxury goods unisex brand notified that the profit of first six months had intensified with the immense sales of its bags and wallets in the Asian region.
It has revealed that its net revenue had climbed by 74% and earned Euros 179.5 million in six months compared to last year's 103 million.
The sales in Asia -Pacific region increased by 35% to Euros 368 million and China was the main contributor as it got the maximum customers from the country. The other brands like Miu Miu, Church's and Car Shoes also did quite well and the sales in Asia outnumbered the sales of both Italy and Europe together.
The leather products were the most traded items and the customers buying these products had a first choice as Prada. Prada Deputy Chairman Carlo Mazzi stated that if to talk about the present times Asia has the biggest consumer market for Prada and the company intends to intensify its sales in the market in the coming future.
Mazzi said that company will be introducing 35 new stores this year. The company planned in June to open 80 new outlets every year for next three years, and the number of stores in China and Asia would be 12 and 25, respectively.
