Hyundai Motor India Going Strong

Despite economic worries and woes worldwide, Hyundai Motor India gives some good news.
The country’s second-largest carmaker in its report of today stated that the company has earned 12.4 percent increase in its total sales in September to 57, 808 units.
The company’s sales in the last year were 51,444 units, confirmed by Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) in its statement.
Moreover, it was also mentioned in the report that the company has cited a 13.2% increase in its domestic market making the figures grow to 35, 955 units from 31, 756 units during the same month last year.
Talking about exports, the company added that an increase of 11% has been cited during the same month, reaching figures to 21,853 units from 19,688 units, compared to last year.
While commenting on the sales performance, HMIL Director (Marketing and Sales) Mr. Arvind Saxena said: “We will launch our much awaited compact car Eon this month. In spite of a sluggish market we expect Eon to boost our sales and increase market share”.
He also added in his statement that the booking orders for the new model are open from today (October 1).
