Hong Kong’s Graphic Designer Student Pays Tribute to Steve Jobs

Hong Kong’s Graphic Designer Student Pays Tribute to Steve JobsA tribute paid by 19- year -old Jonathan Mak, a Hong Kong-based student, to Steve Jobs (1955 to 2011) has created an instant fame for him.

In his tribute, he designed a logo which had a bitten Apple in white color in the black backdrop and this somber logo got hits on the internet, with MNCs calling him to give them copyright to use his image and many other giants are offering him jobs with mind blowing packages.

But, this Hong Kong Polytechnic University’s 2nd-year graphic design student wants to complete his graduation first and is not thinking of any such lucrative offer.

He was of the view that though companies are offering him great packages and many want copyright for this symbol, he first has to ask Apple as the his design is based on their trademark. He further affirmed that some internet companies have already used his design for printing purposes, like for T-shirts and caps.

Great thinking has great minds, and proving this he said that if he gets green signal from Apple to use the design as his personal creation then he would like to give copyright of his design to a cancer research centre as his mentor Steve Jobs died at 56 due to pancreatic cancer.
