An Australian boy, who was caught in Bali for carrying marijuana products, has become a matter of discussion in the country. The authorities concerned have promised the public to bring back the boy safely to the country.
It has been informed that if the boy is brought back to the country soon then he would have to face a long term jail for possessing illegal drugs. While calming the worried public, the authorities concerned said, “Our aim here is to provide every support we can to him and his family, and our aim is to get him back in Australia”.
Prime Minister Julia Gillard has expressed her shock over the case and said that the government will put all the efforts to make sure that the boy is not harmed. She further said that as the case has taken place under the Indonesian law the case has gained sensitivity, and therefore it would be hard for the government bodies to comment upon it.
Foreign Minister Kevin Rudd is keeping a touch with the Indonesian authorities so that a tab, over the happening of the case, could be maintained. The parents of the boy are being consoled and consulted regularly by Australian authorities.
