Maruti Suzuki Feb Sales Up 16%

India's biggest car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki India registered a jump of 15.51% in its sales during the last month, to 1,11,645 units.
India's biggest car manufacturer said that its sales during the corresponding month last year remained at 96,650 units.

Maruti Suzuki has declared that it would invest around Rs 1,925 cr on a novel facility in Manesar, near Delhi, bringing the overall investment to Rs 6,085 cr by 2013.
The new plant, the company's fourth in India, will take the country's largest automobile manufacturer's total annual production capacity to 1.75 million units by end of fiscal year 2012-13.

Maruti Suzuki is ready to mend the oil leakage troubles in the engines of its 6,000 Alto cars that were made in April 2010.
The oil leakage problem leads to starting troubles.
Around 800 sales network centres and approximately 2,740 service workshops will be hired to settle the problems.

Shares of the country's largest auto maker Maruti Suzuki have declined over 10 per cent after it registered a drop of 20% in its quarterly income.
Shares dropped to Rs 1,218 ($26; £17) as against their last closure at Rs 1,358 on Friday.
Maruti Suzuki temporarily closes SX4 production

Maruti Suzuki India (MSI), the country’s largest car maker, has temporarily stopped the production of its mid-sized sedan SX4.
MSI’s sedan SX4 failed to attract customers although it cost less than Honda City, who is presently the market leader. As per the statement issued by the company official, MSI will revise SX$ engine with a new Bharat Stage-IV engine, and also bring some change in the looks by the next few weeks.
